St. Agatha Lenten Prayer Opportunities

  • Stations of the Cross  – On Fridays during Lent beginning with Friday, February 19th – we will have two (2) forms of the Stations of the Cross;
    • As done annually in Lent, St. Agatha School students will conduct Living Stations of the Cross Friday mornings at 8:45AM. in the Church (This will be streamed on the Parish Facebook and YouTube channel).
    • In addition, Fr. Summers will lead the Traditional Stations of the Cross Friday evenings at 7:00PM in the church.

  • Divine Mercy Chaplet – On Tuesdays during Lent beginning with Tuesday, February 23rd – we will pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet Tuesday evenings at 6:00PM in the church.

  • 12 Hour Adoration – St. Agatha is participating in the diocesan planned “Forty Days of Adoration” this Lent.
    • On Tuesday, March 16th, St. Agatha will expose the Blessed Sacrament for twelve (12) hours of Adoration from 8:30AM to 8:30PM. ( There will be no Divine Mercy Chaplet prayed this day)

  • Holy Thursday – The “Night Watch” of Holy Thursday recalls how Jesus invited his apostles to stay with him while he prayed. The Church will be open after Mass on Holy Thursday until 11:59PM for prayer. In a certain sense Jesus challenges all of us to keep watch with him for at least one hour on Holy Thursday, as he challenged his apostles on that fateful night. It is extremely powerful to imagine being there with Jesus in the Garden.

Adoration – We remind you, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is available every Wednesday morning, from 9:00 to 11:00AM and on Thursday evenings from 4:00 to 8:00PM. concluding with benediction.

Morning Rosary – Join parishioners in Praying the Rosary after daily Mass Mondays, Tuesdays, & Thursdays in the Tabernacle Chapel. All are Welcome!
