Bishop Brennan Leaving Columbus – will become the 8th Bishop of the Diocese of Brooklyn, New York.

Early this morning (9-29-2021), the Vatican announced the news that Bishop Brennan, 59, will become the eighth bishop of the Diocese of Brooklyn, New York. His installation will take place on Tuesday, November 30, and he will serve as administrator of Columbus until then. If a new bishop for the Diocese of Columbus is not named by then, the diocesan College of Consultors will elect an administrator until a new bishop is installed.
