Spring 2026 Adult Faith Formation:
Discover God’s call for your life God is calling you to a unique purpose in life, a work of love that only you can do. Discern your charisms (spiritual gifts) and begin to discern God’s call. You have received gifts in Baptism and Confirmation through which God intends His love to reach others. Come and discover these charisms in you!

The $50 fee covers:
- the book for all 3 Parts described below
- one time use of the Spiritual Gifts Inventory questionnaire, with results emailed to you and available online for 1 year
- unlimited lifetime access to the online videos, no expiration
Part 1 –Learning about Charisms: includes four Tuesday evening sessions: on 4/7, 4/14, 4/21, and 4/28 from 7:00 – 8:45.
- Sessions include videos and small group discussion to learn about charisms and your own results from taking the online Catholic Spiritual Gifts Inventory
- Videos are available online for those who are registered, so missing a session or two is not a problem.
Part 2: a 1:1 one hour Spiritual Gifts Discernment session with a trained parishioner or with an interviewer we can arrange from the Catherine of Siena Institute (for an additional fee).
- 1:1 session to be scheduled between 4/28 – 5/12
- The session helps you select the potential charism you want to focus on in Part 3, if you choose to proceed.
Part 3: Discernment in Depth: four Tuesday evening sessions on 5/12, 5/26, 6/9, and 6/23 from 7:00 – 8:45.
- These sessions are 2 weeks apart so you can practice what you learn about discerning your charisms in your everyday life between sessions.
- Recommended to spend at least 2 hours per week between sessions on “charism experiments” that you will learn how to do.
- Sessions include:
- discussion of the exercises and experiments done between sessions
- beautiful prayers, and
- growing experience of what charisms look like, sound like, and feel like in our everyday lives, and in a community
